Project Overview
OGL Construction has been appointed to deliver the design and construction of a new 50,000 sq ft food production facility and office development for Tiffin Sandwiches in Bradford.
Strategically located adjacent to the company’s existing headquarters near the M606, the scheme forms a major expansion of Tiffin Sandwiches’ operational capacity and represents a significant investment into the future growth of the business and the wider Bradford economy.
The new development will provide modern food production and commercial office accommodation designed to support the company’s continued expansion, following the acquisition of fellow Bradford-based sandwich manufacturer Love Bites. The project is expected to create approximately 400 new jobs while securing further long-term employment opportunities across the local supply chain and manufacturing sector.
Phase 1 works commenced in January 2026 and include enabling works, mine capping operations, and the construction of a new external concrete yard in preparation for the main development works. The initial phase is critical in preparing the site infrastructure and ensuring the long-term stability and operational suitability of the development.
Main construction works are scheduled to commence in June 2026, with the site being transformed from its current use as a lorry park into a modern, high-quality industrial food production facility designed to support operational efficiency, sustainability, and future scalability.
The development has been carefully planned to strengthen local employment opportunities and reinforce Bradford’s position within the regional food manufacturing sector. The scheme has received planning approval from Bradford Council, with the development recognised as a sustainable form of economic growth that will provide substantial employment and investment opportunities within the district.
