Project Overview

For over 50 years, Ciceley Commercials has been a trusted supplier of Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles across the Northwest and Scotland. As part of Mercedes-Benz’s latest brand evolution, they turned to OGL Construction to transform their Dumfries dealership—becoming one of the first in the UK to meet the new branding standards.

Ahead of construction, OGL carried out a full structural survey of the existing facilities. This revealed a number of underlying issues requiring remedial works, including significant structural alterations to the building and the introduction of a new mezzanine floor to enhance internal space and functionality.

Works are now underway, with OGL delivering a full refurbishment of all customer-facing areas, along with major upgrades to the dealership’s back-of-house facilities. The project scope also includes a new extension to the existing structure, alterations to the car park, extensive external works, and a redesigned reception and entrance lobby.

Delivered in close collaboration with Sunderland Peacock, the project is progressing on schedule, with completion targeted for September 2025.
