THE PROJECT

Raglan Business Park

OGL Construction was appointed by Fancy Dress Ball Ltd to deliver eight new-build commercial units at Raglan Business Park, Halifax, following the successful delivery of a similar development at Oakwood Business Park.

Developed on previously unused land adjoining the client’s existing premises, the scheme transformed the site into a modern commercial development providing flexible accommodation for start-up and growing businesses.

The eight individually accessed units were constructed using traditional steel portal frames, creating flexible, open internal spaces suitable for a range of commercial and light industrial occupiers. The building envelope incorporates insulated composite cladding complemented by a prominent natural stone-faced façade, providing a considered appearance appropriate to the surrounding area.

OGL’s works extended beyond the buildings to include the supporting site infrastructure, with new utilities, drainage and associated external works creating a fully serviced commercial development.

Completed in July 2023, Raglan Business Park provides eight modern commercial units and represents the successful redevelopment of underutilised land into productive employment space.

Form of Construction
Steel portal frame construction with Kingspan KS1000 insulated composite cladding and natural stone-faced elevations, together with new utilities, drainage and associated external infrastructure.

Key Delivery Outcome
Transformation of previously unused land into eight fully serviced commercial units, providing flexible accommodation for start-up and growing businesses while building on OGL’s successful relationship with a repeat client.
