OGL Construction is delivering a new purpose-built food production and distribution facility for Tiffin Sandwiches at Commondale Way, Bradford, supporting the continued growth and expansion of the company’s operations in the city.

The development comprises a substantial industrial building providing dedicated production, storage and operational accommodation, together with first-floor staff, management and ancillary facilities. Separate staff and visitor entrances, extensive glazing and multiple loading access points have been incorporated to support the day-to-day operation of the facility.

The building is formed around a structural steel frame, creating the large, flexible internal spaces required for the specialist food production operation. A high-performance insulated building envelope combines composite wall and roof panels with extensive curtain wall glazing to the principal staff and management areas.

External works form a significant part of the development and include a new concrete service yard, extensive vehicle parking, dedicated EV charging spaces, pedestrian and vehicle circulation routes, drainage and associated infrastructure.

OGL’s works encompass the complete construction process, coordinating the structural frame, building envelope, internal shell works, specialist installations and extensive external works to deliver a modern and efficient facility designed to support Tiffin Sandwiches’ future growth.

Form of Construction
Structural steel-framed industrial construction with high-performance insulated composite wall and roof panels, aluminium curtain walling and an insulated ground-bearing concrete slab. The development also incorporates reinforced concrete retaining elements, multiple roller-shutter loading doors and extensive external service-yard and infrastructure works.
