Chevin House

OGL Construction was appointed to refurbish and transform Chevin House in Guiseley, upgrading an existing commercial property to create modern accommodation suitable for a new occupier.

The existing building had become dated and required improvement to both its appearance and internal accommodation to enhance its commercial appeal and support its future use. Working alongside Crowther Turnbull Booth, OGL delivered a programme of internal alterations and refurbishment works to give the property a new lease of life.

The works adapted the existing commercial space around the requirements of the incoming occupier while improving the overall quality, appearance and functionality of the building.

The project demonstrates how targeted refurbishment and repurposing can extend the useful life of existing commercial property and create accommodation suited to changing occupier requirements without the need for wholesale redevelopment.

Completed in September 2022, the refurbishment enabled True Personal Training Guiseley to take possession of the upgraded premises and operate the building as a modern fitness and personal training facility.
