North York Moors – Start On Site
OGL Construction is pleased to announce our appointment as Principal Contractor by the North York Moors National Park Authority for the redevelopment of the Old Print Works.
The scheme comprises the refurbishment and redevelopment of existing workshops, stores, garage, and external areas — including all associated MEP works — to deliver a new operational depot for the North York Moors Rangers.
The Ranger team plays a vital role in maintaining over 2,300km of Rights of Way across one of the UK’s most valued protected landscapes, supporting accessibility and conservation throughout the National Park.
Since commencement on 15th September, progress has included:
- Removal and disposal of existing dilapidated cladding
- Remedial works to existing structural steelwork
- Installation of hot and cold rolled steelwork
- Fire protection to structural steel frame
- Structural slab repairs
Over the coming weeks, new wall and roof cladding will be installed by Clad-It, enabling internal fit-out works to begin
Target completion: February 2026
