Laura Bardsley – Ironman Challenges.
About Laura:
Since childhood, Laura has displayed a strong affinity for sports. Throughout her school years, she actively participated in numerous sports teams, and as she grew older, she developed a fondness for the gym.
Weightlifting became her passion, and she even took part in bodybuilding and bikini competitions.
However, Laura has faced significant challenges in the past, battling with anorexia and becoming quite ill as a result.
The gym became a transformative force in her life, altering her perspective. She shifted her focus towards fuelling her body and building muscle, undergoing a complete change in mindset.
For a period, Laura worked as a personal trainer before transitioning to an online role as a health and fitness coach. Through this platform, she coaches people in matters of nutrition, training, and promotes an active and healthy lifestyle.
Laura acknowledges that her competitive nature compelled her to explore new ventures. Approximately eighteen months ago, she decided to give triathlons a go, as she has always relished challenges. Starting with shorter races, she gradually progressed to triathlons and ultimately completed her first half ironman in Majorca in May 2022.
Determined to surpass her current achievements, Laura now trains twice a day and aims to push her boundaries further. In 2023, she has set her sights on a half Ironman in July as a warm-up, leading up to her inaugural Full Ironman in Copenhagen scheduled for August.
Laura undertakes these challenges primarily for personal growth and to serve as an inspiration to her clients. She works closely with them, offering guidance on lifestyle improvements, focus, and overall well-being. By showcasing her own accomplishments, Laura aims to motivate others and demonstrate the amazing results that can be achieved with determination and perseverance.
